Lead Trainers

Margie Ong is the CEO of Thoughts In Gear, a Sustainability and Social Impact consulting firm. In striving for positive environmental and social impact from all sectors, her goal is to translate sustainability intentions into actions – with clear strategic frameworks, roadmaps and actionable plans.

Graduated an electrical engineer, Margie has Sustainability Leadership certification with the London Business School. Before founding TIG, she worked with The Boston Consulting Group, Intel, HCL and the CIMB Foundation.

TIG’s achievements include setting up South East Asia’s first Sustainability Accelerator, producing Asia’s Best Sustainability Strategy and Report, setting up South East Asia’s largest Collective Impact Initiative for education, producing a Harvard-commended SROI Analysis, and most recently producing a COVID-19 Vaccine Management Country Guide that has been used in countries around the world.

Tobias Mangelmann is the Managing Director of LASAJU Consulting Sdn Bhd a Malaysian consulting firm focused on transforming systems for a better and more sustainable future. LASAJU works closely with and for the private sector, policy makers and civil society to make economic systems more sustainable.

Tobias studied in Germany, France and the US and graduated with the German equivalent of a BSc and MBA. However, he has spent most of his professional life in Malaysia and Southeast Asia with McKinsey & Co. and Poyry Management Consulting before setting up a renewable energy company in the Philippines.

– Understanding Scopes 1, 2 and 3 – simplified GHG emission calculations, other key indicators for tracking
